The National Archives in Krakow kindly informs you that due to the liquidation of the Bochnia Branch, it is planned to start moving the resource to the new seat of the Archive at ul. Rakowicka 22E in Krakow.
Due to the need to prepare archival materials for transport, the Reading Room of the Bochnia Branch will be closed from May 16 this year.
Preparation of files for removal includes conservation procedures such as cleaning of files or fumigation, for which the files are sealed in the packaging in which they are stored.
The resource will be made available at the headquarters of the National Archives in Krakow at ul. Rakowicka 22E from the second quarter of 2023.
Moreover, we would like to inform you that due to the necessity to relocate the resource as well as workstations, activities related to the performance of queries, copying archival materials, popularization (shows and archival lessons), and taking over archival materials from external entities will be limited.
